The Geometry of Pure Bespoke

True bespoke is not made-to-measure. It does not begin with a standard factory block. Every commission begins from a blank sheet of paper, sculpted according to your skeletal geometry, bone pitch, and personal demeanor.

The Fitting Journey

Five Stages from Measurement to Heirloom

In-Residence or Atelier ConsultationSTAGE 01
Doorstep Posture Mapping & Silhouette Definition

In-Residence or Atelier Consultation

Every commission begins with an unhurried conversation. Our master tailor meets you at your private residence, club, or suite to understand your daily movement, climate conditions, posture habits, and occasion requirements.

  • •Detailed lifestyle & climate consultation
  • •Silhouette preference (English architectural vs Milanese soft drape)
  • •Cloth drape weight recommendations (260g – 420g)
The 38 Anatomical MeasurementsSTAGE 02
Mapping Skeletal Asymmetry & Drop

The 38 Anatomical Measurements

No human body is symmetrical. Over 38 distinct anatomical points are measured — recording shoulder slopes, neck curvature, chest hollows, and leg balance. From these points, our head cutter drafts an individual 2D paper pattern cut from heavy craft card.

  • •Independent left and right shoulder incline
  • •Drop ratio from chest circumference to trouser waistline
  • •Permanent individual card pattern archived for future orders
Exclusive Cloth Reserve SelectionSTAGE 03
Heritage Mills of Biella, Huddersfield & Somerset

Exclusive Cloth Reserve Selection

You select from over 3,000 archival cloth reserves. We partner exclusively with heritage mills maintaining century-old loom standards — from Fox Brothers heavy flannels to Loro Piana Super 180s wools and pure wild silks.

  • •Fox Brothers Somerset flannels (Est. 1772)
  • •Loro Piana & Ermenegildo Zegna Biella worsteds
  • •Pure Escorial naturally elastic curling wools
The Two Basted FittingsSTAGE 04
Sculpting Natural Canvas to the Torso

The Two Basted Fittings

The jacket is roughly assembled with temporary white basting thread. It lacks facings, linings, and buttons. During this session, the cutter sculpts the internal horsehair canvas directly against your body, adjusting balance, collar roll, and chest fullness.

  • •First basted fit: Core balance and shoulder pitch verification
  • •Forward fit: Sleeve rotation, lapel stance, pocket placement
  • •Performed in your residence or private salon suite
Hand-Finishing & Archival DeliverySTAGE 05
Over 1,200 Pad-Stitches & Heavy Iron Shaping

Hand-Finishing & Archival Delivery

The garment is dismantled and hand-stitched. Over 1,200 invisible hand pad-stitches curl the lapel into an organic 3D roll that never flattens. Pressed with 8kg vintage irons, tagged with your private registry code, and hand-delivered in an archival cedar suit box.

  • •Hand-sewn Milanese buttonhole on left lapel
  • •Horn buttons sourced from water-buffalo horn, cross-stitched with wax thread
  • •Delivered for lifetime wear with complimentary lifetime fit adjustments

Internal Architecture You Never See, But Always Feel

The true superiority of Savile Row and Milanese bespoke lies hidden between the cloth and the lining.

01

Floating Horsehair Canvas

Unlike modern suits that glue synthetic fusing inside the chest, our jackets feature a floating canvas woven from natural Mongolian horsehair and wool. It breathes, moves, and molds permanently to your contours over time.

02

The Pad-Stitched Lapel

Over 1,200 delicate diagonal stitches connect the cloth to the canvas beneath. This creates tension that gently curls the lapel away from the chest in an organic 3D roll that no pressing machine can mimic.

03

Spalla Camicia (Shirt Shoulder)

Our softer jackets feature unpadded pleated sleeve heads crafted in the Neapolitan tradition. Tiny micro-pleats gather the extra cloth at the armhole, granting total freedom of movement without rigid shoulder pads.

04

Milanese Buttonhole

Cut by hand with a chisel and sewn over a core silk gimp thread, the Milanese lapel buttonhole takes 45 minutes of solitary handwork, creating a glossy, raised architectural keyhole.
